When you invest in a Fency Home Designs fence, you're investing in quality that lasts. Our comprehensive warranty program protects your investment and gives you peace of mind for years to come.

Workmanship Warranty
5-Year Workmanship Guarantee
Every Fency Home Designs installation is backed by our 5-year workmanship guarantee. This covers all labor and installation-related issues including:
- Post stability: Posts that lean, shift, or become loose due to improper installation
- Structural integrity: Sagging, warping, or failure of fence structure due to installation errors
- Gate operation: Gates that don't close properly, latches that fail to align, or hinges that bind
- Hardware failures: Fasteners, brackets, or connections that fail due to improper installation
- Board spacing: Improper spacing, alignment, or attachment of fence boards or pickets
If any workmanship issue arises during the warranty period, we'll repair it at no charge—parts and labor included.
Material Warranties
Premium Cedar Fencing
Our Guarantee:
3-year warranty against material defects including excessive warping, splitting, or knots that affect structural integrity.
Note: Natural weathering (silvering) and minor checking are normal characteristics of cedar and not covered. We select premium-grade cedar to minimize these issues.
What's Covered:
- • Structural failure due to material defects
- • Excessive warping beyond industry standards
- • Splits or checks that compromise integrity
- • Premature rot in properly maintained fences
Vinyl Fencing Systems
Manufacturer Warranty:
Lifetime limited warranty from manufacturer covering material defects, cracking, peeling, rotting, and color fading beyond normal limits.
We use only premium vinyl manufacturers (Bufftech, ActiveYards, Weatherables) with proven warranty performance and support.
Coverage Includes:
- • Cracking, splitting, or breaking
- • Peeling or flaking of surface
- • Yellowing or excessive fading
- • Warping beyond specifications
- • Manufacturing defects
Ornamental Aluminum & Steel
Manufacturer Warranty:
20-year to lifetime limited warranty (varies by manufacturer) covering structural integrity, welds, and powder coating finish.
Commercial-grade products from industry leaders: Ultra Aluminum, Ameristar, Jerith, OnGuard.
Coverage Includes:
- • Structural failures and weld defects
- • Powder coating peeling or chipping
- • Corrosion or rust-through
- • Manufacturing defects
- • Excessive fading of finish
Chain Link Systems
Manufacturer Warranty:
10-20 year warranty (varies by coating and gauge) against manufacturing defects, rust-through, and coating failures.
We install commercial-grade systems from Master Halco, Merchants Metals, and Hoover Fence.
Coverage Includes:
- • Galvanization failures
- • Vinyl coating peeling or cracking
- • Rust-through of framework
- • Manufacturing defects in fabric
Important Warranty Information
Warranty Transferability
Our workmanship warranty transfers to new property owners if the property is sold during the warranty period. Material warranties may have different transfer terms—contact the manufacturer or us for details.
Required Maintenance
Warranties require reasonable maintenance. For cedar fences, this includes periodic staining/sealing if you choose to maintain color. For all fences, this means keeping vegetation clear, addressing minor issues promptly, and not altering the installation.
What's Not Covered
Standard exclusions apply to all warranties:
- • Damage from accidents, abuse, or acts of nature (storms, fallen trees, flooding)
- • Alterations or repairs by others
- • Normal wear and maintenance items (paint, stain, cleaning)
- • Damage from improper maintenance or neglect
- • Soil settling or movement not caused by installation errors
- • Damage from utilities, excavation, or third parties
Filing a Warranty Claim

Evaluation
We'll review your claim, typically scheduling an on-site inspection within 3-5 business days to assess the issue and determine coverage.
Resolution
If your claim is covered, we'll schedule repairs promptly. For material warranty issues, we'll coordinate with manufacturers as needed to ensure quick resolution.
Completion
Warranty repairs are completed to the same standards as our original installations. We'll ensure you're fully satisfied before closing the claim.
